MTN Foundation Scholarship Scheme for Nigerian Students
The MTN Foundation Scholarship Program annually recognizes and rewards outstanding students in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions. The MTN Foundation gives these scholarships to eligible students across three categories:
MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (MTN STS)
The MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (MTN STS) has been available since 2010 for eligible 300-level students studying science and technology-related courses at Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions (Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education). Starting in 2024, the scholarship amount has increased from N200,000 to N300,000 annually, with 300 students receiving awards until graduation, contingent on maintaining grade requirements.
MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (MTN SBS)
Since 2012, the MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (MTN SBS) has targeted eligible 200 and 300-level blind students in any course at Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions. Beginning in 2024, the number of recipients has increased from 60 to 100, and the annual scholarship amount has also risen from N200,000 to N300,000, awarded until graduation upon meeting grade requirements.

Introduced in 2020, the Top 10 UTME Scholarship automatically awards the top 10 scoring candidates of the UTME as announced by JAMB. The scholarship supports these candidates from their 100 level through to graduation, irrespective of their course of study or the type of institution (Public or Private in Nigeria).
