Undergraduate developers, designers, and innovators across Nigeria are invited to the Squad Hackathon 2.0 to solve pressing problems in their communities using the power of technology and Squad’s APIs. The theme for this year’s hackathon is Finclusion Revolution: Hacking Access for All and it seeks to take innovation to the next level.
This is an opportunity for you to join the Squad Hackathon 2025 and showcase your skills, collaborate with like-minded talents, and create impactful solutions that empower communities and drive innovation for a more accessible world.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for Squad Hackathon, you must agree to the following:
- Team Work: Collaborate with peers from other universities to design an app addressing real-life issues in areas like financial institution, education, commerce, and more.
- The Goal: Create a solution that drives inclusion, empowers small businesses, or males life easier for individuals in your university or a broader community.
Benefits
Diverse prizes will be offered to the participants who get the first, second and third positions of the Squad Hackathon Competition.
First Position Prize
- 5 million naira to be shared equally amongst all team members, awarded in the form of GTBank utility cards.
- Publicity through Squad and GTCO communications channels
Second Position Prize
- Three million naira to be shared equally amongst all team members, awarded in the form of GTBank utility cards
- Publicity through Squad and GTCO communication channels
Third Position Prize
- Two million naira to be shared equally amongst all team members, awarded in the form of GTBank utility cards.
- Publicity through Squad and GTCO communication channels.
