PEP Research Fellowship Program for Young African Researchers

PEP Research Fellowship Program for Young African Researchers

By Janet

Researchers who are from low- and middle-income countries, the PEP Research Fellowship is inviting you to join their program as Research Fellows (RF).

Through a competitive process, senior scholars from the Global South will be selected to partake in the Partnership for Economic Policy’s (PEP) research, training, and policy initiatives.

The PEP Research fellowship wants to strengthen the connection among Southern-based scholars. They would also enable them to contribute a Southern perspective to the global development research agenda.

Are you a researcher from the Global South, especially females interested in the PEP Research Fellowship? Do check below for more details:

Eligibility

Researchers residing and working in low- or middle-income countries are invited to apply. This year’s priority areas include:

  • Asia and Middle East/North Africa regions
  • Specialization in gender, health, entrepreneurship, or multidisciplinary research approaches

PEP encourages female researchers to apply to maintain gender balance in the RF program. Those living in developed countries and current PEP staff (except consultants) are not eligible.

Application Process

To apply, follow these steps:

  1. Motivation Letter: Submit a one-page motivation letter outlining your specific goals for an initial three-year term to info@pep-net.org, referring to the RF evaluation criteria.
  2. References: Request two references to send their letters of support directly to info@pep-net.org.
  3. PEP Registration: Register on the PEP website, complete your profile, and upload your CV. If you are already registered, ensure your profile and CV are current by logging in and selecting “Update my profile”.

Application Deadline: June 15, 2024
