It was established in honor of Engr Michael Odenigbo and it continues his legacy by supporting students with a passion for writing, critical thinking, and overall social impact.

For the Odenigbo Grant 2025, the topic of the Essay is Brain Drain in Nigeria: Causes, Effects, and Solutions. The contest is open to African students at all education levels. The grant values originality, clarity, and depth of thought in essay submissions.

Requirements

• Essays can be more than 600 words and must be the original work of the author
• Essays must be mailed to Obi@OdenigboGrant.com
• Upon submission, each entrant agrees to be bound by the contest rules & direction of the judges which are final & binding
