Recent graduates and undergraduates willing to do an internship program in Japan, the METI AI and Tech Talent Internship Program is an opportunity for you. This is a government-approved internship program and it is sponsored and implemented by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).

The aim of the METI AI and Tech Talent Internship Program is to promote IT talent for Japanese companies. Each of the ministry will recruit 1 to 5 interns to work at their organization.

Eligibility Criteria

• The Internship is open to the Citizens of the DAC List of ODA Recipients.
• Applicants must reside outside of Japan.
• Must be either a current student (expecting graduation from a higher education institution) or a recent graduate (within the last three years).
• Must possess English language communication skills.
• Japanese language proficiency should be below the JLPT N5 level.
• Applicants must be available to fully participate in all internship and training activities.
• Must satisfy any additional criteria set forth by the host company.
