Masters in Mechatronic Engineering Scholarship Program for African Engineers (Fully Funded)
Do you have a Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering? Are you an African seeking to further your studies in Mechatronic Engineering? Then, the Mechatronic Engineering Scholarship Program is made for you.
The Masters in Mechatronic Engineering Scholarship Program is a fully-funded program in collaboration with ETH Zurich in Switzerland, Ashesi University in Ghana, and industry partners active in Africa. The purpose of this scholaarship is to address regional market needs.
Graduates will be taught at Ashesi University and courses will be delivered from both institutions. You will also gain specialized competencies and a broad skill set to excel in the dynamic field of mechatronic engineering.

Programme Highlights
- Fully Funded Educational Programme: Full scholarships cover tuition, academic fees, laptop and equipment, accommodation, health insurance, an annual trip home, and a monthly stipend for living expenses.

Awarded Degree/Certificate
Upon completion, students will receive:
- Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) from ETH Zurich.
- Master of Science (MSc) from Ashesi University.
Fully-Funded Programme
- No tuition fees.
- Full scholarships covering living expenses, travel, and other program costs.
- Three-year duration, leading to two certificates.
- A $50 application fee applies, available only for selected industry scholarship applicants.
Additional Scholarships
Ashesi University offers additional scholarships and fee-paying options.
How to Apply
Admission Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, Mechanical, Process, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Second Class Upper or better.
- Proficiency in English.
Selection Criteria

- Extracurricular Achievements.
- Working/Internship Experience.
- Demonstration of Motivation.
