Finance Analyst Needed at Max Drive (Full-Time)
Max Drive is in need of a Finance Analyst who will work full time in their organization in Lagos, Nigeria. The successful candidate must operational skills that would help to prioritize tasks to ensure that invoices are processed accurately and on time. Some of the key responsibilities that the finance analyst would be doing include tracking and analyzing OPEX and CAPEX expenditures, performing quality checks for tax invoices, and matching purchase orders with invoices.
As a Finance Analyst, you will also be responsible for promptly addressing Accounts Payable queries, escalating unknown issues when necessary, and collaborating with various units to meet operational and team objectives.

Additional Duties
- preparing payment batches;
- conducting monthly supplier reconciliations;
- posting payment invoices and purchase orders into accounting software,
- managing the monthly closing of payable account heads while tracking aged payables;
- assisting with external audits by preparing supporting documentation for annual financial reports and liaising with audit staff
- computing and ensuring timely remittance of taxes such as VAT, WHT, and PAYE.
Requirements
The Finance Analyst should possess the following:
- 3+ years of experience in a high-volume accounts payable team.
- ACA, ACCA, or ICAN (completed or in view).
- Experience with Sage 300 or a comparable finance system.
- Proficiency in handling complex Accounts Payable issues.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel.
- Excellent financial reporting skills.
- Highly developed communication skills, both oral and written, including presentation abilities.
- Proven ability to run multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Flexible, adaptable, and capable of multitasking.
- Trustworthy with a commitment to absolute discretion at all times.
- High energy levels, drive, and a strong work ethic.
- Extensive experience and understanding of organizational and business operations.
- Consistently high performer and an excellent role model for valued behaviors.
- Preferable to have accounting or finance certification.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to planning and execution.
- Ability to make discretionary judgments and manage confidential information.
